1. Acceptance

By installing, accessing, or using the Dissiq Chrome extension ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is operated by the Dissiq author (an individual creator based in China) ("Dissiq", "we", "our", "us"). For any inquiry, contact support@dissiq.app.

2. Description of Service

Dissiq is a Chrome browser extension that helps content creators analyze publicly visible video content across supported platforms (YouTube, Bilibili, Douyin, Xiaohongshu) by:

Dissiq is an analysis tool. Dissiq does not download, redistribute, or store source video files.

3. AI Provider Disclosure

Dissiq integrates with third-party large language model APIs from OpenAI, Anthropic, and DeepSeek to power its analysis features. Dissiq is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek, Google, ByteDance, Bilibili, Xiaohongshu, or any AI model creator or video platform.

Pro tier users use AI quota provided by Dissiq (we pay the underlying provider). Pro BYOK tier users provide their own API key, billed directly by their chosen provider. We do not store, log, or retain user API keys on our servers — keys are stored locally in the user's Chrome storage and used only to make direct API calls from the user's browser.

5. Subscription, Pricing, and Refunds

Plans

Prices are charged in USD via our Merchant of Record, Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ). Local currency conversion and applicable taxes are handled at checkout.

License Term

Paid plans are annual one-time purchases. There is no automatic renewal. To continue access after expiry, the user repurchases.

Refunds

We offer a 14-day refund from the date of purchase. To request a refund, email support@dissiq.app with your order number. We respond to refund and support requests within 3 business days.

Refunds outside the 14-day window are at our discretion. Refunds may be denied for evidence of license sharing, fraudulent payment, or violation of these Terms.

6. License Keys and Activations

Each paid purchase grants one license key, valid for activation on up to 3 devices simultaneously. Users can deactivate a device through the extension's Settings panel to free up an activation slot.

License keys are personal and non-transferable. Sharing license keys publicly or selling them to third parties violates these Terms and may result in license revocation without refund.

7. Privacy and Data

The Service stores breakdowns, notebooks, and settings in your browser's local storage only. We do not operate user accounts or sync user-generated content to a server.

For Pro tier users (hosted AI), the text content of the page being analyzed is sent to the third-party AI provider for processing. We do not log or store this content on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its source code, design, documentation, and branding, is owned by Dissiq and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

User-generated content (your saved breakdowns, notebooks, tags) belongs to you. You retain all rights to content you create using the Service.

9. Third-Party Platforms

Dissiq reads metadata from third-party video platforms (YouTube, Bilibili, Douyin, Xiaohongshu). Your use of those platforms is governed by their own Terms of Service. Dissiq is not responsible for changes to those platforms' interfaces or policies that affect Service functionality.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT THE AI ANALYSIS RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR FIT FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

AI-generated analysis is provided as creative inspiration, not as authoritative advice. Users are responsible for verifying any insights before acting on them.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT PAID BY THE USER IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption.

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination:

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email (for paid users) or via an updated "Last Updated" date on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator resides (currently the People's Republic of China), without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes are resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

For users in the European Union and other jurisdictions with applicable consumer protection laws, statutory rights are not affected by these Terms.
